Greetings! Wow, life sure has been interesting the last while. So, where do I start? Let's see. I guess the first thing would be the photo shoot that Justin and I made to Duluth a while back. We left at about 4:30 one Saturday morning to shoot the sunrise over Lake Superior.

The second thing would be the snow storms that we got. We got snow both of the first two weekends in April, but because I wasn't home for the second one I won't say much about it. The first one though was quite the deal. It was one of the best blizzards that I ever remember. Okay so maybe the first of April isn't the best time to get a huge snow storm but it was pretty cool nonetheless. We got about 18-20 inches at our place but we're in the open where the wind can blow it all away. People that live back in the woods where the wind wasn't so strong had close to 30 inches. It started snowing Saturday night and was pretty much done by Monday morning. So what do you do when you're "snowed in"? Well what else but get "un-snowed in" and go take pictures. Sunday morning church was canceled so Justin and I went out to capture the snow.

Thirdly I left to go to SMBI for 5th term. I was going to leave Friday morning but they were again forcasting a bunch of snow so I left Thursday afternoon and drove through most of the night till I got to Indiana where I stayed with my Grandparents. I did run into some of the snow, but mostly I just drove through rain. Because of the storm there were some pretty big waves on Lake Superior, so on my way through Duluth I stopped and took some pictures.

Now I'm here at SMBI and we just finnished the first week. I'm still trying to get used to this whole thing of being dean. It's definately a different experience. Trying to stay ahead of all the logistical things can be a challenge. I'm taking a class and a half this term, Christian Morality and Gospel & Culture. So far both have been really good. Well anyway the other night I was feeling a little stressed and overwhelmed, so I drove up the mountain and went exploring. I drove back this little dirt road that was more of a ATV trail than a road but I went for a ways and then stopped and went hiking down this trail. Here's just a few photos from then and around school.

That's pretty much it for now. Sorry this got so long.
